Medical Office Receptionist / Office Assistant

Women’s Wellness Center | Columbia Hormone Health is seeking a professional, compassionate Medical Office Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team.

Our practice provides a unique patient-centered medical experience, specializing in female pelvic health and hormone health and wellness for women and men. Every member of our team plays an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a professional medical setting, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Position Overview

The Medical Office Receptionist / Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and by phone. This role helps ensure that each patient interaction reflects the professionalism, warmth, and efficiency that defines our practice.

The position includes telephone and front desk responsibilities, additional office and clinical support tasks, and potential opportunity to cross train in other areas of the practice.

Responsibilities

Front Office and Office Assistant duties may include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Greeting and assisting patients
  • Collecting insurance information and copayments
  • Managing patient check-in and check-out
  • Scanning, filing, and document management
  • General administrative and office support
  • Providing support and assistance for the clinical teams.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • College education or significant relevant work experience
  • 1–2 years experience in a medical office or customer service setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort with computers and electronic medical records
  • Previous medical office experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
