Dr. Mark Grant is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He has practiced in Columbia, Missouri since 1993 and has cared for thousands of women and families throughout mid-Missouri during his more than 30-year career in women’s healthcare.

As a specialist in high-risk pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Mark provided advanced obstetrical care, fetal diagnostics, and ultrasound services for women with medically complicated pregnancies and fetal concerns. In 2007, he joined his wife, Dr. Laura Grant, in cofounding Women’s Wellness Center with the vision of creating a more personalized and comprehensive approach to women’s health and wellness.

Hormone Therapy for Men and Women

After decades devoted to maternal-fetal medicine and high-risk obstetrics, Dr. Mark has transitioned the primary focus of his practice toward hormone optimization, preventive medicine, and wellness care for men and women in the second half of life.

This evolution in practice was influenced not only by years of clinical experience, but also by his personal understanding of the profound impact hormonal health can have on vitality, cognitive function, body composition, strength, energy, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Mark believes that hormone therapy has remained unnecessarily controversial and misunderstood for many years, leaving countless patients without appropriate education or treatment options. His goal is to help patients better understand the relationship between hormonal health, aging, and long-term wellness while providing individualized care designed to improve both quality of life and long-term health outcomes.

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Pelvic Ultrasound

Dr. Mark Grant is highly experienced in pelvic and gynecologic ultrasound and provides consultation regarding the clinical significance of complex pelvic ultrasound findings.

He also specializes in the ultrasound evaluation of pelvic floor dysfunction, a frequently overlooked condition that contributes to chronic pelvic pain, bladder pain syndromes such as interstitial cystitis, painful intercourse, genital pain disorders, urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, overactive bladder, bowel dysfunction, and fecal incontinence.

Dr. Mark and his team are committed to providing compassionate, professional care for women experiencing these often intimate and life-altering conditions.
